Ptomey, 68, 1318 Cotton Hills Drive, died at 12:20 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital after a long illness. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Don Grantham Funeral Homes Chapel conducted by Rev. Bryan Halliburton, Pastor of the First Baptist Church. Ptomey was born Dec. 15, 1905 in Tonganoxie, Kan. He had lived here since 1948, coming here from Mattoon, Ill. He was former vice president and manager of General Oil Tools Co. of Duncan and was serving as company consultant at the time of his death. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Duncan Elks Lodge. He married Marie Wishon in 1942 in Monroe, Mo. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, James Lowe, 607 N. H [st.], Kenneth Ptomey, 1325 N. 7th, and W. W. Ptomey, 1816 Chisholm Drive; two brothers, Raymond Ptomey, Rosewood, Calif.;, and Verlin Ptomey, Willmington, Del.; a sister, Mrs. Fern Drake, Hesperia, Calif., and six grandchildren. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens cemetery under direction of the Grantham Funeral Home. Bearers will be Art Arterbury, William H. Duvall, R. E. Duvall, Jack Boyd, W. O.
