Robinson, born Dec. 25 1910 in Rouse Colo., the eighth of nine children born to William and Dora Robinson, died March 30 1999 in Duncan Regional Hospital. He attended school in Walsenburg Colo., was inducted in the Army in 1943. While stationed at Fort Sill, he met and married Minnie Seals Williams on April 1 1944 in Oklahoma City. He was in the contracting business. Survivors include his wife on the home, a daughter and son-in law, Marjorie and James Lockhart of Duncan, son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Karen Williams of Denver, son Herman Don Robinson of Houston, a sister Margaret Parrish of Sunnyside Utah, three grandchildren, Jacqualyn and Frank Brown, Beverly Y. and Billy Gray of Dallas and Tonya Brandy Robinson of Houston, three great- grandchildren, Tammiko and Beverly L. of Dallas, and Aisha of Denver, three great-great-grandsons, Dezmond, Terrance and Christopher of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and sisters and a grandson. Funeral services were in the Word of Life Church of God in Christ with elder N.H. James officiating. Burial was in the Henderson Harris Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home of Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
