All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Duncan Cemetery--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 9 Mar 2003 Loraine Coffelt Roberts Loraine Coffelt Roberts passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003, in Duncan. She was born Aug. 20, 1914, in the Rock Creek Community west of Duncan, to William Riley and Esther Coffelt. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Duncan Cemetery with Randy Southerland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. She married William Palmer Lawrence in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1958. In 1964, she married Keith Roberts, who died on Sept. 20, 2001. Her sisters, Eva Hay, Fern Ketchum, Edith Brooks and a brother, Raymond Coffelt, preceded her in death. Loraine worked for Frensley and Frensley Insurance agency for 16 years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and former member of the Duncan Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Lawrence of Duncan and Rhonda Green and her husband, Robert, of Collierville, Tenn.; a son, Richard Roberts and his wife, Joan, of Stillwater; nephews, Jerald Ketchum of Duncan, Ronald Coffelt of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Richard Michael Roberts, Becky Roberts, Lee Ann Brown, Stephen Green, Brian Green and Christopher Green. Honorary bearers are John B. Cooper. Dr. William Edwards and Dr. Jimmy Jones.
