Roush, 86, of Duncan died today, Nov. 26, 2002, in Duncan. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jody Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery. Mr. Roush was born Sept. 11, 1916, in Earlsboro, to Ira and Maybelle Heath Roush. He married Reba Marshall on Aug. 31, 1940, in Shawnee. She preceded him in death on June 12, 2002. Mr. Roush began his employment with Halliburton Oil Well Cementing Company on March 26, 1940, as a warehouseman and was promoted to Receiving Department foreman before being called to serve in the United States Army in the European Theatre in 1944. He returned to Halliburton in 1946, and achieved the positions of purchasing clerk, senior buyer and assistant purchasing manager at the time of his retirement in March of 1982, culminating in 42 years of service to the company. He enjoyed activities involving gun and knife sales and trades. His last interest being watching or playing golf and buying or selling golf clubs and accessories through B&L Golf. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Dottie and Earl Alexander of Duncan and Jennifer Roush of Grapevine, Texas; two grandchildren, Greg Alexander of Apache and Shelby Alexander of Duncan; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Maci Alexander of Duncan; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Ailine and Jim Fontenot of Mesquite, Texas, Louise and Ron Ferrell of Waco, Texas, and Betty Lou Miller of Apple Valley, Calif.; three brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Gordon Sands of Dallas, Betty and Buddy Mashburn of Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Jerry and Carolyn Marshall of Edmond; many special nieces and nephews; and two loving caregivers, Carolyn Knight of Duncan and Sue Fair of Dallas. He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leonard, Lloyd and Glenn Roush; and two brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Ruby and Jean Marshall, Robert and Helen Beck, and Norma Roush. Bearers will be Earl Alexander, Greg Alexander, Steve Marshall, Stan Marshall and Bob Bryant.
