She was formerly employed by Singer Sewing Machine Co., Abbies and operated her own seamstress business. She was very active and faithful member of her church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Dr. Ronny M. LaQuey of Duncan and Sonnya Kay and Jay Hofecker of Santa Fe NM, a brother and sister-in-law, John C and Velma Brisco of Moore, a brother-in-law and his wife, Rev. Curtis and Daisy Ledbetter of Duncan, eight grandchildren, Mischell Barbieri, Renee Grabiec, Mikel Sousoures, Mark Cantales, Joseph Cantales, Lisa G. Williams, Donna Smith and Karen Lamke, 15 great-grandchildren and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris L. Layman. Funeral services were held in the Gospel Beams Church with Rev. Curtis Ledbetter and Rev. Jody Hilliard officiating. Burial was in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
