All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Jewel Claudine Redd Jewel Claudine Redd, 94, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wood-Dunning Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Plainview with Terry Nesmith, Faith Assembly of God Church in Lubbock, and Jerry McClung, chaplain at Prairie House Living Center in Plainview, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park. Mrs. Redd was born in Marlow, Okla. She came to Floydada in 1926 from Oklahoma and moved to Amarillo in 1945. She was a member of Buchanan Street Baptist Church of Amarillo. She worked at Deason Dry Cleaners until 1988 as a press lady. She was preceded in death by a son. Survivors include a son, Bobby Redd of Lubbock; three daughters, Claudine Bretthauer of Amarillo and Voncell Casey and Betty Quisenberry, both of Plainview; two sisters, Nita Jo Patton of Clovis, N.M., and Evelyn Bramlett of Lubbock; a brother, Grady Jenkins of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
