"Jim" 1915 - 2005 James "Jim" O. Reynolds, 89, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005. Prayer service: 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Greenwood Garden Chapel. Burial: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Seaside Memorial Park, Corpus Christi. Jim was born Nov. 4, 1915, in Comanche, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jim retired at age 69 after serving as senior vice president in charge of estimating for Berry Contracting. He was a member of United Auto Workers pipefitters and American Legion. Jim was an avid golfer, which he enjoyed playing until he was 85. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Viola Reynolds; wife, Virginia; daughter, Marlene Beaton; brother, Orval and J.B. Reynolds; and sister, Geneva Hensley. Survivors: Daughter, Kathy Crowder and husband, Jimmie, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Steve Chilton and wife, Liz, of Fort Worth, Susie McKnight of Willow Park, Jim Hartley and wife, Jennifer, of Corpus Christi, Bill Hartley and wife, Kelly, of Austin, Johnny Hartley of Albuquerque and Jan Pilcher and husband, Al, of League City; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
