Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the First Assembly of God in Marlow with the Rev. Eugene Howeth and the Rev. Elwyn Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Polly was born on March 6, 1939, in Edmond, to Monroe and Marjorie Roberts Nevels. She married Ronald C. Sparks on April 28, 1955, in Lawton. Mrs. Sparks was a housewife. She had lived in Marlow for 27 years. She was an Assembly of God Ordained Minister and also taught college courses at Bethel School of the Bible in Wichita, Kan. Survivors include her husband, Ronald, of the home; a son, Ronald Ray “Lucky” Sparks and his wife, Jenny, of Duncan; a daughter, Ronda Pauline Sellers and her fiancé, David Meadows, of Marlow; five grandchildren, Karalee and Chad Choate, Kasi Rae Bickerstaff, and Claire Jocelyn and Jett Paul Sparks; and two sisters and a brother- in-law, Gloria Ann Nevels and Betty Jean and Monte Fincher, all of Marlow.
