All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Highland Cemetery--Lawton OK Spradlin, Jack Jack Spradlin, 91, a retired master plumber, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at a Mineral Wells nursing home. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Okla. Visitation: His body will lie in state Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home for those who wish to view him. He was born June 25, 1914, in Lawton, Okla., the son of James Gilbert and Martha Striplin Spradlin. He had lived in Mineral Wells since 1985 and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a master plumber in Fort Worth for 30 years prior to moving to Mineral Wells. He married Faye Rowena Burk on Jan. 3, 1936, in Duncan, Okla., and they were married for 60 years. She preceded him in death in August 1996. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl, Jess and Walt; and sisters, Marie Shaw, Dixie Cramer, Lorena Nolen and Louise Dobbins. Survivors: Brother, Ted Spradlin of Lawton, Okla.; sister, Lois Hyde of Phoenix, Ariz.; nieces, Jackie Ahlschlager of Lawton, Okla., and Jean West of Tyler; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
