Shannon is the daughter of Kay Holman of Marlow. ========= Duncan Banner 17 May 2002 Shannon Leigh Schuhs MARLOW — Shannon Leigh Schuhs, 32, of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, in Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, S.D. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow with Pastor Tom Duckett officiating. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery. Mrs. Schuhs was born July 16, 1969, in Atlanta, Ga., to Durad Trent and Mona Kay Mayberry Holman. She married James Cecil Schuhs on Dec. 9, 1989, in the First United Methodist Church in Marlow. Mrs. Schuhs had lived in South Dakota for 20 months, she was a former Marlow resident for three and half years, and lived in Weatherford for six years. While in Marlow she had worked for the Chaparral and Love’s South. She worked for Wal-Mart in Colorado Springs, Colo., and at Hardees in Weatherford. She attended school in Carthage, Mo., and graduated high school in Chickasha where she served as drum major in the marching band her junior and senior years. She attended Southwestern University in Weatherford. Mrs. Schuhs enjoyed Indian bead work and rose gardening. Survivors included her husband, James, and son, Devin, of the home; her parents, Durad Trent Holman of Tulsa and Mona Kay Holman of Marlow; two sisters, Kimberly Chambers of Yukon and Misty Schlehuber of Plano, Texas; two nieces, Keisha Chambers and Haleigh Schlehuber; a nephew, William Schlehuber; a grandfather, John Mayberry of Elmore City; and a grandmother, Bonnie Holman of Tulsa.
