Scott CHILDRESS - Jim D. Scott, 66, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Childress Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Toothman, Assembly of God minister from Odessa, officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Scott was born in Duncan, Okla. He was a butcher and owned and operated the Holiday Meat Market in Lubbock for several years. He had lived in Childress for the past four years. He served with the Air Force during the Korean War, serving as a military policeman.
