Stephens, 79, of Sarasota, Fla., a former Marlow resident, passed away Friday, July 25, 2003, in Sarasota. Graveside service will be Friday in Kankakee, Ill. R.Q. was born Nov. 16, 1924, in Bray, to Charnic and Nannie Anderson Stephens. He married Mildred Barber on July 26, 1947, in Kankakee. Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita and Kyle Tschiegg of Sarasota and Debbie and Donald Goin of Bourbonnais, Ill.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mildred Gaines and Darlene and Dois Rolens, all of Duncan; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joe Stephens of Marlow, Jerrell and Leta Stephens of Torrance, Calif., and Ellene Stephens of Waterloo, Ala.; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, D.T.
