Rusty Canoy officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery. ========= Duncan Banner 19 May 2002 Cannie Gretna Stevens Cannie Gretna Stevens, 78, of Comanche died Thursday, May 16, 2002, in Duncan. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Canoy officiating. Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery. Mrs. Stevens was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Paducah, Texas, to Jim Crawford. She married Pierce R. Stevens on Oct. 26, 1940, in Paducah. She was a homemaker and involved in the Douglass Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meridian. Survivors include her husband, Pierce, of the home; a son, Jerry Stevens of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Shirley Helton of Duncan; a sister, Erma Templeton of Quanah, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Robert Stevens, in 1971. Bearers will be Scott Helton, Bill Pulis, Danny Bray, Phillip Whitehead, Ruben Pulis and Dewayne Stevens.
