All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Hill Cemetery--Lindsay OK B G Boydston Funeral Home Lindsay OK Dorthy Louise Stockstill October 7, 1926-November 12, 2005 Dorthy Louise Romans Stockstill passed away on November 12, 2005 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She was born on October 7, 1926 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Her parents were Claud Major and Burnice Estelle Romans. Dorthy was a retired Registered Nurse. She grew up in Lindsay from the age of 12 and then moved with her family out of state in 1958. After living in several places she returned to Lindsay approximately 10 years ago to live with her mother, Mrs. C.M. Romans. She was a member of the Lindsay United Methodist Church. Dorthy enjoyed her flower garden, shopping, fishing, traveling and playing the piano. She is preceded in death by her father, who passed away in 1974, and one brother, Donald Wayne Romans. Dorthy is survived by her mother, Burnice Estelle Benefield Romans, of Lindsay, her daughter, Candice Stockstill Freeman and son-in-law, Gary L. Freeman of Lindsay, and her granddaughter, Christina Louise Cravey, her husband Neal and their daughter, Aubrey Anna Cravey, of Longview, Texas. She also leaves behind her newborn great grandson, Gregory Benjamin Cravey, born October 23, 2005, of Longview, Texas. Services for Dorthy will be at the United Methodist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. Interment will be at the Greenhill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home.
