All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Marlow Cemetery-Marlow OK Duncan Banner 29 Aug 2002 Buelah Pearl Stotts MARLOW — Service for Buelah Pearl Stotts, 102, of Marlow, who died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, in Duncan, is pending with Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. ========= Duncan Banner 30 Aug 2002 Pearl Stotts MARLOW — Pearl Stotts, 102, of Marlow died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, in Duncan Regional Hospital. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel with the Rev. LaRoyce Brown officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery. Mrs. Stotts was born Aug. 19, 1900, in Welcome, Mo., to John and Cecil Wright Clark. She married Gillie Stotts on April 11, 1917, in Duncan. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1985. Mrs. Stotts graduated from Lindsay High School in 1918. She farmed and ranched in Foster and Purcell for 37 years. She moved to Marlow in 1969. She loved sewing, especially handwork. Flowers were her first priority and she had a beautiful flower garden. She was a big reader. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Shirley Stotts and G.B. Stotts all of Burns Flat; three daughters, Roma Boles Allen, and Juanita "Billie" Johnson and Carl Allison all of Burns Flat and Mildred Doller and Leroy Schenk of Marlow; a brother, Johnny Clark of Elmore City; a sister, Fern Harper of Arp, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, two great- grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters. Bearers will be Max Stotts, Mark Stotts, Tim Stotts, Steve Morton, Lance Wortham and Kevin Fowler. Honorary bearers are her grandchildren.
