Henery Baxter Stewart, born in Doyle to Oscar L. and Purnie Howertor 
Stewart, died June 4, 1999 in Meridian Nursing Center. 

He married Mildred Shahan in 1939 in Oklahoma City. He was a pumper 
for Phillips Petroleum Co. and retired in 1973 after 20 years of 
service. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. 

Survivors include his wife of the home, two sone, Warner B. Stewart 
of Wichita KS. and Dickie Stewart of Gainesville TX., a daughter 
Linda Presgrove of Duncan, a brother, Ralph Stewart of Duncan, a 
sister Mary Jane Probasco of California, 11 grandchildren and 6 
great-grandchildren, 

He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy on June 2 1986, a brother 
James Stewart, Two sisters, Vie Smith and Maudie Bass and two 
grandsons, James W. Stewart and Dustin Stewart. Graveside services 
were in the Duncan Cemetery with Ron Stough officiating. 
Arrangements were under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home 
in Duncan.
