Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. James Croswell officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Letha was born Dec. 27, 1908, on the family farm southeast of Duncan, to early Stephen’s County pioneers, Harley Grover and Hattie Lorene Kinder Wilson. She was a 1927 graduate of Duncan High School and a 1928 graduate of Draughns Business School. She worked for Halliburton Luggage in Oklahoma City. Soon after her marriage to Tate Stringfield they owned and managed the Cadillac/Oldsmobile agencies in Duncan. Later they owned and managed Midwest Cadillac/Oldsmobile Motor Company in El Reno until their retirement in the late 1960s. Mrs. Stringfield was active in the Eastern Star and held many offices in Duncan in her early years. Survivors include two nephews, Larry D. Wilson of Marlow and Roger C. Wilson of Henryetta.
