All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Duncan Banner 28 Nov 2002 Albert Edwin Shelton COMANCHE — Albert Edwin Shelton, 88, of Comanche died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in Meridian Nursing Home. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Dow Pannell officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Shelton was born June 4, 1914, in Texas to Albert and Bethel Winn Shelton. He married Elmira Bounds, and she preceded him in death in March 2002. Mr. Shelton was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a carpenter. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Wiggins and Billie Shelton, both of San Francisco; a brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Irene Shelton of Comanche; a sister, LaVelda Foster of Comanche; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
