Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 1, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Thompson officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery. Born June 24, 1919, to Joe and Mary (Moore) Henry in Brock, she worked for a newspaper and was a Real Estate manager for 22 years. Mrs. Solomon lived in the Duncan area since 1990 and a former resident of Comanche, she graduated from high school in Chicago. In December 1996, she married Buddie Solomon in Marlow. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors in addition to her husband Buddie of the home include a step-daughter Wanda Moore Montgomery and husband Claude of Comanche; three step-sons Gene Solomon and wife Mary and Billy Solomon and wife Kathy all of Marlow and Joe Solomon of Comanche; several step- grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
