Mildred Lee "Millie" Swanson of Duncan (Stephens County) born Oct. 
7, 1951 in Marlow to Ernie and Hazel Alsobrook, died March 24, 2001 
in Oklahoma City at the age of 49. 

She married Phillip Swanson on March 13, 1970 in Wichita Falls TX. 
She lived in the Duncan and Velma-Alma areas all her life. She was a 
sales associate for Wal-Mart and retired in 1995. She was a member 
of the Open Door Fellowship. 

Survivors include her husband of the home, two daughters and sons-
in-law, Loye and Danny Head of Winslow Ariz. and Shanna and Charley 
Davis of Duncan; four granddaughters, Lauren Davis, Kelsey Davis, 
Taylor Head and Daniele Head; four brothers, Bill Alsobrook of 
Caldwell TX, Don Alsobrook and Lynn Alsobrook, both of Midland TX, 
and Junior Alsobrook of Pasadena, TX; two sisters, Helen Aldridge of 
Yukon and Jo Ann Alexander of Duncan. Funeral services were in the 
Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. David Thomas officiating. 

Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter-
Smart Funeral Home in Duncan.
