Snider of Comanche, born Oct. 3 1918 in Duncan to Grover and Lilly Snider, died March 31 1999 in Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. He married Manara Snider Nov. 1988 in Comanche. He was a veteran of World War II, a building contractor and affiliated with the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of the home, a son Rodger Eugene Snider of Gordonville TX., a daughter, Janice Snider Moore of Weatherford TX, a step-son Jimmy Shaw of Comanche, five brothers, Howard Snider and Grover Snider of Duncan, Kenneth Snider, Billy Ray Snider and Junior Snider, all of Portland Ore. , 14 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Ronald Snider. Graveside services were in Duncan Cemetery with Bo Bailey officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Morehead-Head Funeral Home in Comanche. --------------------------------------------------------------------
