Snider JOSHUA TREE, Calif. - Laura Snider, formerly of Duncan, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002. Service is pending with Mountain Valley Memorial Park Mortuary in Joshua Tree. Ms. Snider was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Wewoka to Jim and Winona Phillips Reed. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Pacheco, Terry Laurson and Nancy Martin and her husband, all of Joshua Tree; two sons, David Berry of Joshua Tree and Jim Poole and his wife, Chris, of Shawnee; two sisters, Jean Alston and Wanda Pruitt, both of Duncan; two brothers, John Reed of Duncan and Jim Reed Jr. of Archer City, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a sister, and a special long-time companion. ========= Duncan Banner 11 Sep 2002 Laura E. Snider JOSHUA TREE, Calif. - Laura E. Snider, 77, a native of Wewoka, a long-time resident of Duncan, a 38-year resident of California, and a 33-year resident of Joshua Tree, Calif., died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002. Graveside service was at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, in Mountain Valley Memorial Park in Joshua Tree with Pastor Milt Merritt and Pastor Don Meier officiating. Mrs. Snider was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Ozark, Ark., to James S. and Winona Phillips Reed. She was married to Donald H. Robinson for 25 years. Mrs. Snider was a retired waitress and a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth J. Poole of Shawnee and David A. Berry of Joshua Tree; three daughters, Kathryn A. Pacheco, Nancy L. Martin and Teresa G. Luersen, all of Joshua Tree; two brothers, John Reed of Duncan and James Reed of Archer City, Texas; two sisters, Wanda Privitt and Jean Alston, both of Duncan; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.
