All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Marlow Review Lee Sharp Lee Sharp, 81, of Visalia passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005. Lee was born in Ozark, Ark., on Aug. 8, 1923, to Nancy and Verb Sharp. As a young child, he moved to Oklahoma where he went to school. He married Wanda Louise Nixon in Jan. 7, 1946, and they were happily married for 59 years. He has two sons, Rodney and Larry; and daughters-in-law, Gail and Carol; four grandchildren, Andrea Lucas, Matt Sharp, Jennifer Fisher and Jeffrey Robson; six great-grandchildren, Chandler, Spencer and Makenzie Lucas, Jacob Robson, and Alyssa and Phoebe Fisher. Also surviving is his brother, Verbie Sharp and two sisters, Genola Garret and Coys McConahy Lee loved cars, engines, dominoes, and camping but his greatest love was for his family. For the past two years he was a resident of Delta Convalescent Hospital where he was cared for lovingly by all the staff. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Visalia. Interment was held at Visalia Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Heritage Funeral Services, Visalia.
