All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Duncan Banner 5 Jan 2003 Alice JoAnn Tipton Alice JoAnn Tipton, 61, of Duncan died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, in her home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Bernard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tipton was born Aug. 3, 1941, in Chickasha to J.D. and Dorothy Baker McCoy. She married Lloyd Tipton on Dec. 27, 1954. She was a homemaker and retired seamstress. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd, of the home; three daughters, Carolyn Hall of Marietta, Janet Criddle of Wichita Falls and Janita Morris of Ardmore; two sons, Fritz Tipton of Waurika and Ronald Tipton of Duncan; a brother, Donald McCoy of Midwest City; three sisters, Bernice Bernard of Duncan, Linda Hancock of Meridian and LaDonna Frazier of Chickasha; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
