All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Hope Cemetery--Hope OK Marlow Review 2 Jun 2005 Louis Conway Tucker, 73, went to be with the Lord and Savior, Wednesday, May 25, 2005. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 28, at Callaway- Smith-Cobb Chapel, with the Rev. Lawrence Gresham officiating. Burial was held in the Hope Cemetery. Born Feb. 14, 1932, to James and Willie (Sweetin) Tucker, in Alderson, he served in the United States Army in Korea from 1951 to 1953 with the 37th Artillery Division and was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge. On Dec. 27, 1951, he married Roxie Duckworth, in Clayton, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Norma Jean Bennett; and two daughters, Regina and Sharon. Survivors in addition to his wife, Roxie, of the home include, a son, Richard Tucker of Marlow; a daughter, Connie Kincannon of Mustang; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Other survivors include, a brother and sister-in-law, James "Red" and Clarice Tucker of Tishomingo; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia Shillaee of Pittsburg, Calif., and Geri and Richard McClelland of Antioch, Calif.
