Talley, age 71, owner and president of John Talley Construction, Inc., died at Hemet, Calif. in the early hours of Wednesday, March 21, 2007. He was born on September 19, 1935 in Duncan, Okla. to the late Joseph K. and Myrtle Talley. He attended high school in Hemet, Calif. John T. Talley served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On February 28, 1952, he married Coleen Frazier in Silverton, Ore. John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Coleen; his son, "Little" John, and his wife, Rekha; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Sabrina. He is further survived by his brother, Ollie J. Talley of Medford, many nieces and nephews, and untold numbers of friends. Funeral services will be held at the Apostolic Faith Church at 285 E. Sunrise, Friday, March 30, at 10 a.m. We would like to thank all friends and family members for their prayers, help, and support. There is no sadness in our family as we know that "Big" John is in heaven rejoicing with his parents, brothers and sisters, who preceded him. We will miss "Big John" or "Uncle John" as he was known to many, for there is certainly an empty place in our lives, but he will live on fondly in our memories and hearts.
