Taylor of Comanche, born Feb. 8 1914 in Wapanucka to H.D. and Molly Dunn Taylor, died June 28 1999 in Meridian Nursing Home. He married Ruby G. Cleere on Sept. 28 1933 in Comanche. He worked in construction as a pipefitter and was member of Pipefitters Union. he was a member of the Oak Avenue Nazarene Church in Duncan. Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter-in-law Gladys Taylor of Comanche, two half-brothers, Mearl Taylor of Texas and Kenneth Taylor of Kansas, a half sister Lula Mae Riggle of Comanche and Valerie Milburn of Oklahoma, grandchildren, Daniel Taylor of Michigan and Samuel Taylor of North Carolina and three Great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Raymond Taylor in Feb. 1999 and two half sisters, Bernice Johnson and Imogene Taylor. Funeral services were in the Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Ruby officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Morehead-Goetz Funeral home of Comanche. --------------------------------------------------------------------
