She married Joseph Gerald Thompson on Nov 11, 1939 in El Reno. She was a homemaker and former employee of Gibsons Discount Store. She owned and operated a café at Buncomb Creek at Lake Texoma for seven years. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Duncan. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Elizabeth Thompson of Duncan; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and George Peterson of Fort Worth TX; a sister, Margie Pitt of Norman OK; four grandchildren, Todd Thompson, Ty Thompson, Jenean Thompson and Chanda Lane; three step grandchildren, Gary Bond, Terri Caldwell and George Peterson and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 7, 1994 and by a son Larry Thompson in 1992. Graveside services were in the Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Jackson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
