She married Dempsey G. Thomas Feb. 7 1920 in Waurika. She came to Ryan, Indian Territory with her parents by covered wagon in 1907. She attended Ryan school and moved to Duncan in 1921. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Church of Christ in Duncan. Survivors include five sons and two daughters-in-law, D.G. Thomas Jr. of Albuquerque NM, Kenneth and Helen Thomas of Marlow, Felix and Catherine Thomas of Abilene TX, Danny Thomas and Larry Thomas both of Oklahoma City, five daughters and three sons-in-law, Frances Neeld and Margaret Brown both of Duncan, Robinell and Don Acridge of Ft. Worth, Joann and J.H. Beam of Duncan and Jackie and Robert Sleeker of Duncan, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Bell of Plainview TX . She was preceded in death by hr husband, four sisters, four brothers, three sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law. Funeral services were held in the Eastside Church of Christ in Duncan with Ron Stough officiating. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. --------------------------------------------------------------------
