All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Marlow Review Vera Maxine Tomlinson Vera Maxine Tomlinson, 90, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, in Marlow. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the First Baptist Church in Marlow, with Dr. Joe Ligon and the Rev. Gene Jorgenson officiating. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born Jan. 31, 1914, to Luther and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Shipman, in Nellie, she loved to do crafts, gardening, painting and have visits from her family. On May 13, 1935, she married Harvard Berlyn "H.B." Tomlinson, in County Line. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Shirley Ann Baxter; and a brother, Irwin Shipman. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harvard and Judy Tomlinson of Duncan, and Harold and June Tomlinson of Central High; a daughter, Jean Kingsley of Marlow; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren. Other survivors include, a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Almarene Shipman of Oklahoma City; a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Gil Killian-Kaikainahaole of Lawton; and a sister-in-law, Wilma Shipman of Oklahoma City.
