Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 24, at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. E.R. Cagle officiating and Kent Strahan giving the Eulogy. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born Nov. 23, 1926, to Arglee Blundell and Elizabeth Akers, in Royal, she enjoyed crafts, crochet, arts and listening to gospel music. On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Recil Troxel, in Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Vetura Mowry, Jessie Owens, Jewell Shuler, and Edna Blundell; and four brothers, Layton Blundell, Chester Blundell, Hester Blundell and Clarence Blundell. Survivors in addition to her husband, Recil, of the home include; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Shirl Troxel of Ratliff City; two daughters and a son-in-law, Liz Anderson of Marlow and Sharon and Randy Cartwright of Kearney, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Rosa and Brigham Conner of Elmore City. Pallbearers were Bill McMahan, Bob Greer, Jesse Mason, Pee Wee Riley, Rick Patterson and Darrel Dillingham.
