Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Roberson and the Rev. Frank Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery. Miss Woody was born Aug. 5, 1931, in Duncan, to Carl Leroy and Betha LoEtta Davis Woody. She was a 1949 graduate of Empire High School. She worked for Edwards Trust for over 50 years. Miss Woody was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church since 1982. She taught the Naomi Ladies Adult II Sunday School Class. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Charlene Woody of Duncan and Weldon and Reba Woody of Snyder; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Bill Strawn, Patsy and Ronnie Koch and Faye and Fred Bauch, all of Duncan; eight nieces and nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Eric Woody and Billy Strawn.
