The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Whetsell, Tolbert, Dunlap, Anderson, Howell Smidge Whetsell, from Sept. 2 1906 in Quinlan TX to Sidney and Dottie Tolbert, died April 2 1999 at Duncan Regional Hospital. She married Odus Whetsill in Walters in 1940. She was a resident of the Stephens County area for many years, a member of the Elk Avenue Church of Christ. She attended school in Hastings. She worked in the old Duncan Hospital in the admitting department. Survivors include one son W.C. Whetsell of Pawhuska, daughtes Linda Dunlap of Tulsa, Frances Anderson of Flower Mound TX, and Virginia Howell of Ruidoso, NM, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, her husband in Nov. 1974 and three sisters. Funeral services were at the Elk Ave. Church of Christ with Jerry Roberts officiating. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter- Smart Funeral Home of Duncan --------------------------------------------------------------------
