All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Wilkie, Donna Hartwell 1947 - 2005 Donna Hartwell Wilkie, 57, died suddenly at her home, Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005. Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. Friday at Bass Performance Hall. The family will receive friends after the service. Inurnment: A private service will be held for the family in Sunapee Community Cemetery, Sunapee, N.H. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to All Saints Health Foundation, Country Day School of Arlington, or a favorite charity. Donna Hartwell Wilkie was born Dec. 5, 1947, to Edna and Royal Hartwell in Durant, Okla. She was a resident of the Fort Worth area since her early childhood, and graduated from Azle High School. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor of arts degree in history and from The University of Texas at Arlington with a master of arts degree in education. During her successful career, she was director of volunteers of the Fort Worth State School, manager of area councils of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, director of development of Fort Worth Country Day School, head of Country Day School of Arlington, and a consultant to All Saints Health Foundation. She was preceded in death by her father, Royal Hartwell, and her brother, Eddie Hartwell. Survivors: Husband of 21 years, Valleau Wilkie Jr. of Fort Worth; mother, Edna Smith Geeslin of Stratford, Okla.; children, Sondra Elizabeth Bowden of Fort Worth, James Bryan Bowden of Austin and Randy Simmons of Denton; stepdaughter, Janice Wilkie Brenneman of Fort Worth; stepson, Robert V. Wilkie and wife, Tonya, of Sunapee, N.H.; brother, Joe Hartwell and wife, Peggy, of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
