Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Stough officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Laflin Cemetery in Alex. Mrs. Wilson was born Sept. 26, 1915, in Lindsay to Joel and Doshia Abigail Evans Dennis. She married James Dee Arthur "J.D." Wilson on Dec. 14, 1940, in Chickasha. She was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family and church. She worked at Cochran's Shoe Store for 10 years and at several dress shops, retiring in 1970. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, J.D., of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kent Wilson and Jerry and Debbie Wilson, all of Duncan; five grandchildren, Shelley Wilson of Duncan, Sara Wilson of Houston, Texas, Lori Wilson of Oklahoma City, and Sammy Burns and Cody Burns, both of Wichita Falls; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece, Sherri Martin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and a nephew, Jeff Hayes of Port Arthur, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Wilson on Dec. 28, 2000; two sisters; and a brother. Bearers will be Jim Palmer, Jeff Mann, Dick Fennel, Larry Wilson, Jim Fleetwood and Ron Herndon.
