Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UaB.2ACI/1044 Dixie Mildred Williams Services for Dixie Mildred Williams, 86, were held Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sulphur United Methodist Church with Rev. Emery Mason officiating. Interment was at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. Mrs. Williams was born July 30, 1917 in Marlow to A.V. and Bertha (Gordon) Williams. She died May 29, 2004 in Muskogee. She married Mace Williams in Duncan in 1939. She grew up in the Rush Springs area, graduating from high school there. She attended Cameron College before moving to Sulphur. She earned her teaching degree and taught many years in Sulphur. She was a member of the Sulphur United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Mace Williams, Muskogee; daughter, Sally Bufkin, Louisville, Ky.; a son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Trudy Williams, Muskogee; a brother Ok. G. Williams, Dallas, Texas; brothers and sister-in-laws, Al and Jane Williams, Woodward and Jim and Liliana Williams, Houston, Texas; sisters, Lahoma Grunewald, Woodward and Donna Crane, Tulsa; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
