All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 4 Dec 2003 *Mittie Tennessee Williams Funeral for Mittie Tennessee Williams, 80, Lawton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cameron Baptist Church with Bob Jones officiating. Mrs. Williams died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at an Oklahoma City medical center. Burial will be at Marlow Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 21, 1923, to John and Ola Elizabeth Hinch Bartlett. She married Kenneth Williams on Aug. 5, 1944, in Altus. He died Aug. 19, 2001. She lived in Lawton for more than 50 years. She was a nutritionist and was employed by H.S. Crest Co. and the Nutrition Center of Lawton and was a food demonstrator. She was a longtime member of Cameron Baptist Church, where she was a women's Sunday school teacher, secretary and bookkeeper. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sally Bartlett, Marlow; two sisters: Sylvia Lemons and her husband Ron Lemons Sr., Duncan; and Mae Ola Spivey, Lawton; and several nieces and nephews.
