He married Linda Gibson on Oct. 11 1968 at the Eastside Baptist Church in Marlow. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Rush Springs. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He had lived in Marlow most of his life and was a retired toolpusher. Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Donny Burson of Elk City, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Eddie and Suzi Lancaster of Elk City and David Lancaster of Marlow, five sisters, Paulene Graves, Ethel Rowe, Barbara Barnett, and Linda Akers, all of Duncan and Becky Van Houten of Guthrie, three brothers, Tom Wilmoth and Jim Wilmoth, both of Duncan and Emmitt Wilmoth of Crescent, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, He was preceded in death by a brother, George Wilmoth Jr. Funeral services were at the Eastside Baptist Church in Marlow with the Rev. Danny Martin officiating. Burial was in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow. --------------------------------------------------------------------
