"Rites Pending For A.C. Ware Service was pending at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Wednesday for A.C. Ware, 98, Marlow. Ware, a resident of the Marlow area since 1929 and a retired farmer, died early Wednesday in a Marlow nursing home. He was a member of the Marlow Assembly of God Church. Survivors are a son, Dewey G. Ware of Moore; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Paul Sorenson of Long Beach, California; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren." ========= From the Marlow Review, Marlow, Stephens county, Oklahoma Thursday, December 17, 1970, page 2. "Andrew C. Ware Dies, Services Held Friday Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 11, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Smith Chapel for Andrew C. Ware, 98, life long resident of the Marlow area. Andrew Ware married Annie D. Burg, April 23, 1896 at McAlister, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in September of this year. He was a blacksmith, farmer and a member of the Assembly of God Church of Marlow. Survivors include one son, Dewey of Moore; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Soreson of Long Beach, California; five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Rev. H.C. Eslinger conducted the services. Pallbearers were Joe Blundell, Robert Ross, Clarlous Carter, Roy Barnett, Troy Patterson and Jim Goins.
