He attended schools in Fox. He married Bobby Gay on Oct. 20 1949 in Ardmore. He served in the navy during World War 2. He is survived by three sons, Jackey Wright of Stockton Ca. Keith Wright of Baytown TX, Johnny Wright of Waxahachie TX. and a daughter Jeannie Robinson of Velma, five brothers, Lee Wright of Wilson, Bill Wright of Healdton, Herman Wright of Duncan, Vernon Wright of Denver City TX, and Eugene Wright of Whittier CA. , four sisters, Helen Soloman of Hobbs NM, Freda Ince of Pernell, Betty Chandler of Countyline, and Vera Soloman of Duncan, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Wilma Gray, Sylvia Florence and Valta Mitchell. Funeral services were in the Velma Church of Christ with Scott Furniss officiating. Burial was in the Alma Cemetery under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home of Velma. --------------------------------------------------------------------
