Alma Jean Ash

PAMPA - Alma Jean Ash died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. John Glover, associate pastor of 
First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Ash was born in Olinger, Va., and had been a resident of Pampa since 
1945.

She married Denzil C. "Jack'' Ash in 1933 at Guymon, Okla. He died in 
1980.

Mrs. Ash worked as a sales clerk at Behrman's for more than 20 years. She 
was a member of First Baptist Church and the Business and Professional 
Women's Sunday School class.

Survivors include two nieces, Lillian LaBerge of Longview, Wash., and 
Ellen Couch of Madras, Ore.
