All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== GUYMON, Okla. - Louie Ann Goodnight Adams, 106, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim Jacobson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 2, 1895, in Panhandle, Texas, to William Mitchell and Eula Henson Goodnight. She lived all of her life in the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma. She graduated from Guymon High School with the class of 1912. She married Harry D. Adams on Aug. 4, 1927, in Amarillo, Texas. The Adams family lived in Hooker and later in Guymon. She was county clerk for Texas County for more than 37 years. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and Chapter A.M. of P.E.O. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961; a son, Lou Adams; two sisters; four brothers; and a granddaughter. Survivors include two sons, Robert Adams of McKinney, Texas, and Don Adams of Kansas City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to First Presbyterian Church and mailed to Henson-Novak Funeral Home, P.O. 1306, Guymon, OK 73942. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
