Honey was born on March 6th 1916, in Hooker, Oklahoma and moved to Shafter, California when she was four. In 1938 she married the love of her life, Allen Anderson who preceded her in death 12 years ago. Honey had a beautiful life, one full of love, laughter and peace, but God saw her becoming weak and called her to be with Him. We are comforted to know she is living in Heavenly Peace. Honey was a loving and charming woman, touching the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her radiant smile, special laugh and cheerful voice were reflections of her loving heart and uplifting spirit. Her family could always count on her for lifting their spirits and for her ability to laugh in any situation. Honey was full of life and loved to have a good time. She was a strong woman who endured lifes ups and downs without complaint. Honey is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Allene and Billy Cowan, and Bunny and Ryan Jeffries. Grandchildren, Kirk Cowan and wife, Kay, Traci Boylan and husband, Bryan, Shawna Gruwell and husband, Scott, Jason Jeffries, Christopher Jeffries, and Bryan Jeffries and great grandchildren Riley, Bridget, Scott, Kasey, Billy and Morgan. Also dear to her heart are nieces and nephews Ronnie and Jack Anderson, Dennis Heinz, Lauren Goldstein and Mary Hill. We would like to give our love and special thanks to special friends, Howard and Lea Matthews for many years of devoted friendship. A special thank you to Patricia White, for all of the love and compassion she showed to Honey. Honeys family was the most important part of her life and she will be greatly missed. Our memories of her will be treasured throughout our lives and in Honeys words, we loved her like a pig loves slop. Her beauty and spirit will bring us continuous joy and comfort as we cherish all the gifts she brought into our world. Honey will continue to live on in our hearts and be lovingly remembered.
