Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Western Avenue Church of Christ with Glen Walton officiating. Graveside services with military honors will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday in East View Memorial Park Cemetery at Vernon, Texas. Arrangements are by Miller Mortuary. Mr. Bell was born in Tyrone, Okla. He graduated from the Five & One School in Lockett, Texas, and attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He married Peggy L. Gatewood in 1949 at Vernon. Mr. Bell was an Army veteran of World War II. He ranched for several years near Fort Worth, Texas. He lived in Ralls, Lubbock and Amarillo before moving to Liberal in 1967. He was a sales representative for W.R. Grace Chemicals and traveled in western Kansas, eastern Colorado and the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma before retiring in 1988. He was a member of Western Avenue Church of Christ in Liberal. Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Bell of Sulphur Springs, Texas; a brother, Loy W. Bell Jr. of Monroe, La.; four sisters, Joyce LeBlanc of Slidell, La., Betty Burelsmith and Helen Dyer, both of Lubbock, and Aurelia Cleveland of Lewisville, Texas; and two granddaughters. Friends may call at Miller Mortuary from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. The family requests memorials be to World Bible School c/o Western Avenue Church of Christ, 215 S.
