Lola F. Brooks

GUYMON, Okla. - Lola F. Brooks, 94, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in 
Elkhart, Kan.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Victory Memorial United 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Chafin officiating. Burial for the 
family will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts 
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Clarendon, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member 
of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. She was an active member of 
the Order of the Eastern Star for many years.

She married Walter Berry Brooks in 1921 at Waurika. They moved to Guymon 
in 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969; and by a 
daughter, Geraldine Rowbotham.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Brooks of Huntington Beach, Calif., 
R.T. Brooks of Goodwell and Bob Brooks of Knoxville, Tenn.; 12 
grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven greatgreat-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
