Neta Mae Briggs

Mrs. Neta Mae Briggs, 85, of Ashland, passed away Monday, November 
27, 2006.

She was born June 29, 1921 on her parent's homestead in South Flats 
District of Texas County, Okla. On August 17, 1941 in Carson City, 
Nevada, she married Harley Donn Briggs, who passed away in 1986.

Mrs. Briggs was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She 
belonged to the Ashland, Ore. and Quincy, Calif. Hospital 
Auxiliaries.

She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Murphy of Talent, Ore.; son, 
Randolph Briggs of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Shirley McKenzie of 
Ashland and Louise Briggs of Talent; brothers, Robert Forester of 
Napa, Calif. and William Forester of Ashland; six grandchildren and 
seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents 
and four siblings.

Throughout life, Neta showed exceptional feelings of love, acceptance 
and forgiveness.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Community Hospital 
Auxiliary.
