All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Harry Harvey Barker GUYMON, Okla. - Harry Harvey Barker, 93, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Cathy Henry officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Hugoton Cemetery at Hugoton, Kan. Mr. Barker was born in Chillicothe, Texas, and moved to the Hardesty area in the early 1920s from the Perryton, Texas, area. He worked in the maintenance department at the Carbon Black Plant at Ryus, Kan. He moved to Hugoton and worked at the City Light Plant. He married Virgie Martin in 1926. In 1966, he married Viola Vivian Kirk at Tucumcari, N. M. She died in 1993. He also was preceded in death by a son, Gene Barker. Survivors include three daughters, Beulah Thornton and Ann Bugner, both of Guymon, and Virgie Lawson of Euless, Texas; a son, Jerald Barker of Yuba City, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great- granddaughter. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers be to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Kidney Research. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
