All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Amarillo Globe News 13 Sep 1998 Minnie Bunger GUYMON, Okla. - Minnie Bunger, 85, died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with Chris Trent, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch- Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mrs. Bunger was born and raised in Stevens County, Kan., where she graduated from Hugoton High School. She and her husband lived in Republic Camp in the Straight community until moving to Guymon in 1956. From 1953 until 1961, she was a nurse's aide at the Guymon Memorial Hospital, then worked as a special duty nurse. Mrs. Bunger was an active member of Guymon First Baptist Church where she served in Women's Missionary Union, Girls Auxiliary and in the nursery. She was a member of Paul's Scarlet Garden Club. She married Edwin Bunger in 1934 at Liberal, Kan. He preceded her in death in 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Boyett of Guymon and Edwina Ferbrache of Woodward; a son, Herman Bunger of Liberal; a sister, Rebecca Lebow of Marionville, Mo.; six grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Texas County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/texas/texas.html
