Samuel Garth Beard

WHEELER - Samuel Garth Beard, 64, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999.

No services are planned. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home of 
Wheeler.

Mr. Beard was born in Cochran County. A truck driver, he moved to Wheeler 
from Houston in 1989. He attended the First United Methodist Church of 
Wheeler.

He married Barbara Mann in 1958 at Guymon, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Karen McNeil, Rhonda Girdley 
and Sandra Simpson, all of Wheeler; two sisters, Florence Owen of Hobbs, 
N.M., and Juanita Bulkely of Odessa; nine grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.
