Sheryl Kaye Bartels

GUYMON, Okla. - Sheryl Kaye Bartels, 51, a former Guymon resident, 
died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at Oklahoma City. Services will be at 
1 p.m. today in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Wescoatt 
officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts 
Funeral Home. Mrs. Bartels was born in Liberal, Kan. She graduated 
from Liberal High School in 1965 and attended Oklahoma City 
University. She married Wayne Otto Bartels in 1980 at Oklahoma City. 
In 1990, they moved to Guymon, where they lived until 1998, when they 
moved back to Oklahoma City. She was a legal secretary and a member 
of Trinity Lutheran Church at Guymon. Survivors include her husband; 
a son, Daniel Rich of Tulsa; a daughter, Sharon Birdsell of Oklahoma; 
her parents, Lee and Juanita Chiles of Liberal; a sister, Debbie 
Kidder of St. Louis, Mo.; and a grandson. The family requests 
memorials be to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity. 
Memorials will be accepted at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 
1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
